Test Results for Gradus Inserts

    The test results for Gradus inserts for stair nosing are shown in Figure 1.

  • All inserts are tested for: slip-resistance, surface roughness, chemical and bacterial/fungal resistance
  • Wear test independently carried out by SATRA using the Taber Abrader Method and classified in accordance with the results shown in Figure 1
  • Slip-resistance tests have been independently undertaken by the Health & Safety Laboratory using the pendulum test (see Figure 2)

* Stairtile and Interior (standard, grained, Elite) tested to BS EN 660-2:1999 and assessed against the requirements of BS EN 649:1997. Xtra-grip and Xtra-grip Plus tested to BS EN 13845:2005 – 50,000 cycles.

Heavy Duty Exterior and Standard Exterior – Accelerated wear test using a SATRA Pedatron
